Our mission is simple – to save our clients time and money. With experience in project management and remodeling/home construction, we will help you avoid costly mistakes, keep all vendors focused on delivering what you ordered, and ensure your contractor has what he needs before he needs it to avoid project delays.

Saving you Money

  • We can help you select contractors. We can recommend several with whom we have worked, but we can also find others so you have a selection. We will help you compare contractor bids so that they are “apples to apples” and will present to you the pros and cons of each one.
  • We can research appliances, tiles, plumbing fixtures, etc. and will help you find the best price.
  • We can help you prepare and manage a budget. We record every purchase made including all necessary details. This helps with tracking expected deliveries, but it also helps prioritize where and when money should be spent versus saved.

Saving you Time

  • We can find and recommend contractors and vendors. We can vet them, pre-interview them, follow up on getting the bids, answer their questions about the project, and organize in-person meetings.
  • We can run errands like picking up tile, flooring, paint samples, etc. and bringing them to you for decision-making.
  • We can set up your orders with vendors so a simple call from you completes the transaction.
  • We can record and organize all purchases made for your (and the contractor’s reference) during and after the project is completed.
  • We can prioritize which decisions you need to make each week to stay ahead of the contractor’s needs and we can facilitate the decisions by providing choices.
  • We can be on site during construction while you are working to answer questions, escalate issues, and ensure work is happening as and when it is expected.

How We Work

We serve you and act as your liaison with vendors and contractors. Millhammer can create an online, shared workbook with a decision plan, milestone tracking, purchase details, hours tracking, and budget. Any and all services are optional.

After receiving an initial engagement fee, we bill project management services on an hourly basis in 15 minute increments. There is no commitment of how many hours must be used. There is no upcharge on items purchased as all items are purchased by you. Services can begin or end on demand.
